Layby Terms and Conditions

Lay-by orders will only be accepted on Die Cut Machines.
The Customer must have registered with De-Signs Made by Me!
The Customer is deemed to have agreed to the following terms:
A deposit of $100 is required at the time the Lay-by order is placed. A deposit of $100 can be paid via PayPal. A flat rate charge of $8.97 for freight will also be charged with the deposit.
Lay-by orders are limited to a period of eight (8) weeks from the date the order is placed. Weekly payments must be made during the term of the Lay-by.
Upon payment of the initial deposit, the Customer is deemed to have agreed and accepted the De-Signs Made by Me! Lay-by Statement as well as Terms and Conditions. Customer's are not allowed to change the product(s) of the Lay-by purchase once the Lay-by contract has commenced.
It is the Customer's responsibility to notify De-Signs Made by Me! of any change in their personal details (eg address, email address, contact number/s etc.).
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that De-Signs Made by Me! emails are not filtered from the Customer's email inbox.
Lay-by orders will be delivered to the Customer when the final payment is made and all payments have been cleared through our bank account.
If a Customer is having trouble making their Lay-by payments on time, they should contact De-Signs Made by Me! as soon as possible to discuss possible options. If a Customer fails to make payments, then they are deemed in breach of the contact and De-Signs Made by Me! reserves the right to cancel the Customer's Lay-by.

LAY-BY CANCELLATION
  • If a Customer changes their mind or are late making the specified payments, Customer's are in breach of the Lay-by Terms and Conditions.
  • De-Signs Made by Me! reserves the right to cancel a Lay-by when:
  • The good(s) are no longer available
  • Customer has broken the Terms and Conditions of the Lay-by and has not rectified the breach within 14 days of notice
  • Customer's payments are not received in accordance with the payment schedule (weekly payment).
LAY-BY CANCELLATION FEE
Customer's are required to pay a Lay-by Cancellation fee of 25% of the total Lay-by Order amount.
  • Customers are required to pay a Lay-by Cancellation Fee when:
  • Customer cancels the lay-by transaction
Customer has not adhered to the Terms and Conditions of the lay-by and has not rectified the breach within 14 days of notice and thus result in the cancellation of the Lay-by.
De-Signs Made by Me! will refund to the Customer the remaining amount paid (after deducting the Lay-by Cancellation Fee).
De-Signs Made by Me! reserves the right to change or alter the Terms and Conditions of the Lay-by Contract under the terms as agreed with the Customer. All agreed Terms and Conditions will be communicated in the form of writing by either email or letter. Any other forms of agreement are not legally binding.
